Utilization of Fish Farm Effluent for Irrigation Short Rotation Willow (Salix alba L.) under Lysimeter Conditions

چکیده

Efficient utilization, treatment, and disposal of agricultural wastewater sewage sludge are important environmental risks. In our research, effluent water from intensive aquaculture was evaluated for the irrigation short rotation energy willow in a lysimeter experiment. Two different types their combinations were applied with weekly doses 15, 30, 60 mm, respectively. Our results revealed that implementing instead fresh could potentially increase yield due to its higher nitrogen content (29 N mg/L). The biomass irrigated coppice (SRC) plants between 493–864 g/plant, 226–482 268–553 g/plant dry weight during experiment period (2015–2017), However, chemical properties (Na concentration, SAR value) water, soil exchangeable sodium percentage (ESP) significant it can lead degradation long term. current study also investigated relationship composition plant tissue water. case K-levels clones, an increasing trend observed year-by-year. terms Na localized leaf parts, especially samples effluent. Less values detected stem surface SRC plants, phosphorus mostly stem, lower extent part. difference is amount where P examined parts decreased phenological observations, height measured diluted irrigation. growth and survival of willow seedling (salix alba l.) under water deficit stress

willows due to the rapid growth rate, low nutrient requirements, resistance to many pollutants, and environmental stresses are ideal candidates for developing the landscapes and reducing the environmental degradation. the purpose of this study was to determine the response of salix alba seedling to water deficit conditions. this experiment was set up as complete randomized design with five irri...

The Effect of Chemical Soil Properties on Weed Infestation Structure in Willow (Salix L.) Short-Rotation Coppice

Differences in soil and habitat conditions, depending on the type of soil on which shrubby species of willow Salix L. are being grown for energy purposes, are reflected in weed infestation species diversity and the distinctiveness of these crops, and require an individual program of control and reduction of the abundance of competitive herbaceous vegetation. Our study aimed at determining soil ...

Cyanide acclimation in willow (Salix babylonica L.), a prospect for the phytoremediation of cyanide

Phytoremediation counts as a major method for future which essentially needs resistance to contaminating agents. We pretreated the plants (Salix babylonica, as a model plant in phytoremediation of polluted waters) by sodium cyanide (0, 3 and 5 mg CN- L-1) to induce resistance with regard to acclimation and then examined their resistance to higher concentrations of cyanide. Accordingly, some of ...

Polymorphism and Divergence in Two Willow Species, Salix viminalis L. and Salix schwerinii E. Wolf

We investigated species divergence, present and past gene flow, levels of nucleotide polymorphism, and linkage disequilibrium in two willows from the plant genus Salix. Salix belongs together with Populus to the Salicaceae family; however, most population genetic studies of Salicaceae have been performed in Populus, the model genus in forest biology. Here we present a study on two closely relat...
